Sarauniyar Gusau Receives Merit Award from Action For Capacity Building Initiative
Her Royal Majesty Queen Hajia Dr. Lubna Muhammad Gusau (Sarauniyar Gusau, Sarauniyar Kasar Hausa) was recently conferred with a Merit Award by the Action For Capacity Building Initiative in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian efforts and contributions to the 19 northern states (kasar Hausa) . The award ceremony took place in Zamfara State this day 31st, August 2024.
As the CEO of the LBG Foundation, Dr. Lubna has been actively involved in various philanthropic activities aimed at relieving the pains and serving the needs of the people.
Some of her notable initiatives include:
Sponsoring the construction of toilet facilities
Visiting hospitals to provide financial support to patients
Distributing Ramadan food items to 679 households in Gusau Metro
Providing relief items to orphanages and internally displaced persons camps
The LBG Foundation, under Dr. Lubna’s leadership, has been working tirelessly to address issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
