Her Royal Majesty Queen Hajia Dr. Lubna Muhammad Gusau (Sarauniyar Gusau, Sarauniyar Kasar Hausa) graciously received the Merit Award from the Action For Capacity Building Initiative on August 31, 2024, in Ja’iz Hotel, Zamfara State heavily represented by teaming staff of Lubna Baba Gusau Foundation, recognizing her exceptional contributions to humanitarian causes across the 19 northern states (Kasar Hausa). As CEO of the LBG Foundation, Dr. Lubna has led numerous philanthropic projects, including constructing sanitation facilities, providing financial support to hospital patients, distributing Ramadan food items, and delivering aid to orphanages and internally displaced persons. During the award ceremony, Dr. Lubna further demonstrated her commitment to community development by donating ₦200,000 to promote civic engagement. This award and donation reflect her consistent dedication to alleviating suffering and advancing Sustainable Development Goals, especially in clean water, sanitation, and fostering partnerships for sustainable development.

The Foundation through the auspicious leadership of the founder and CEO Dr. Lubna Muhammad Gusau has philanthropically assisted 360 vulnerable Households with a unique foodstuff package(s) which comprises of Rice, Spaghetti and Macaroni.
The exercise started earlier yesterday 14th June 2024 and ended today 15th June 2024.

The initiative by the CEO Dr. Lubna Muhammad to distribute direct cash transfers to households in need during the festive season of Edil Fitr 1445AH/2024 is highly commendable.
The program provided varying amounts of financial assistance, ranging from N10,000.00 to N50,000.00 per recipient, aiming to alleviate economic hardship for a reasonable number of households.
This act of generosity is a testament to her commitment to social responsibility and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

“Empowering Communities: 5000 Beneficiaries Receive Essential Food Aid During Ramadan 1445AH/2024”.
In a heartwarming display of community support, approximately 5000 beneficiaries were provided with essential food packages during Ramadan 1445AH/2024. This initiative aimed to alleviate economic challenges and ensure that those in need were supported during this holy month.

This initiative not only provided essential sustenance but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity among all those involved.

Today the 30th of December, 2023 Hajj. (Dr) Lubna Muhammad, the Queen of Gusau and the Queen of the Hausa country, tested the children of her Foundation called LBG FOUNDATION with surprises.
After the annual meeting which is usually held to collect the things presented in the last year which we call “LGB FOUNDATION ANNUAL REVIEW ON EXECUTED PROGRAMS IN 2023”.
The committee discussed with satisfaction the work done by the sub-committees, such as; visiting students in their schools and paying school fees and giving them school supplies and changing their uniforms and so on.
Also, the committees that take care of the sick, the orphanage and the prisons have also been approved for the work they presented this year.
After that, the Queen of Gusau assured that from now on every student who graduates under this foundation will be given a JAMB form. and high school.
 
After the discussion, in order to cheer us up as usual, we were rushed to a part of her house where she gave a gift of a car to one of our colleagues Mai FATI YARIMA, and each of us benefited from a bag of rice, a gallon of oil And an envelope for shopping money

We are thrilled to announce that the Lubna Baba Gusau Foundation, through its INMATES’ SUPPORT AND REINTEGRATION COMMITTEE, has successfully facilitated the release of 13 inmates courtesy of The Correctional Center Visitation and Inmate Release Program.
The primary objective of our program is to identify eligible inmates who have served a significant portion of their sentence and demonstrate good behavior while incarcerated.
Our aim is to help these individuals regain their freedom and support their reintegration into society by addressing their financial needs.
🔓 The foundation’s commitment to promoting rehabilitation and reintegration has led to this significant milestone. By providing support and resources, we aim to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.

Once again Her Royal Majesty Queen Hajia Dr. Lubna Baba Gusau has put a smile on the face of a young girl whose arm was amputated by awarding a mouth blowing scholarship with a full payment of her education from JSS1 up to SS3, she was also ushered with other packages like a motorcycle that will always convey her to the school and food items. Indeed Her Royal Majesty always has humanity at heart. May Almighty Allah continue to bless and guide her with good health and peace of mind.

Today(13th November, 2023), we at the LBG Foundation are filled with immense joy and gratitude as we commemorate World Orphans Day by extending a helping hand to an orphanage home. It is our honor to have been able to donate essential provisions and delightful treats to bring smiles to the faces of these wonderful children.

The Foundation has commenced routine payment of school fees and provision of new school materials which includes: Uniform, Writing materials and school bags to scholarship awarded beneficiaries cut across western and Islamic schools in Zamfara State.

Her Majesty Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba (Sarauniyar Gusau) with other executive members paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Correctional Medium Custodial Centre Gusau.
As she is used to visiting places like this which include hospitals, refugees, orphanage house and rehabilitation house, today she and her team got to visit at Gusau’s house.
She looked at the debtors, they were paid for women and men, and some were appointed lawyers.
From Bisani she listened to the complaints of the hursunoni and gave orders to teach them jobs some herbs, some herbs, others, all under the Lubna Baba Gusau Foundation (LBG Foundation).
Residents of the Garaoke House were very happy with their expressions of happiness today as Eid day to them, and they prayed to Allah to reward her with his best wishes and grant her good wishes Amen.

Hajiya Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau accompanied by her Husband, children and staff of the Foundation stormed the state’s orphanage home with a remarkable gospel leaving the Orphans in a joyful mood. In her speech she added that the visit is meant to keep ties and cement the bond of brotherhood islamically as well as to show love and care as humans. 29th June, 2023.
There was a financial contribution courtesy of quizzed games exercised by selected children who emerged winners in the order of N5,000.00, N2,5000.00, N1000.00 and N500. In the same vein, the Assisting staff received the Sum of N50,000.00 as a Sallah gifts.
The Foundation also supported the Orphans with school materials(note books & bags), cooked meals, sweets, chocolates, perfumes and soaps.
The moment was an excellent one.

The CEO DR. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau “emphasized” with Patients cut across different Hospitals in Zamfara State on the Arafat Day.
Yesterday on the 9th day of Zul-Hijja 1444AH equivalent to 27th of June 2023 Her Majesty Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba (Sarauniyar Gusau) embarked on a hospital Visitation Excercise in a bid to emphasize, access and support patients financially. Dr. Led the Foundation members and executives to Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, King Fahad and Farida General Hospital.
The visit which lasted for 2hrs was done in a strategic order of wards with priority to most vulnerable. Amongst the ward visited were: paediatrics, trauma unit, accident and emergency, pre natal and post natal, female medical and surgical to mention but a few.
Furthermore, the patients received food, bags of sachet water and a reasonable amount of money.

The top officials of the Foundation were informed that a man was reported to be suffering from a rotten leg as a result of a prolonged illness unattended to due to financial constraints. This resulted to amputation of the leg. After hearing the news the foundation’s CEO Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau and the executive team members moved into action.
Under the auspicious leadership of the CEO Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau just like many other times, paid the hospital Bill’s including routine clinical check up worth thousands of naira.
Baba, the patient is now heartily fairing and healing. A delegation sent by the Foundation confirmed this.

Distribution of Ramadan Food items to 679 households in Gusau Metro ended with encouraging Smiles and wholehearted prayers by beneficiaries.
The verification and distribution commenced in the early hours of today 6th March 2023 equivalent to 15th of Ramadan 1444AH. Our pure intents on this seasonal project is to help households observe the holy months of Ramadan at ease, fighting Hunger and poverty in light of the Sustainable Development Goals.
However, this year we were able to have an increase in the number of targeted beneficiaries after a careful conduct of need assessment, from a range 300+ to 679 beneficiaries. This exercise will most definitely continue in the interest of people in need under the auspicious leadership of Her Majesty Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau (Sarauniyar Gusau) whose aim is no less than relieving people from pains.

There are at least 27 schools with about 200 students whose education is sponsored by this foundation until completion. 
There are primary and secondary students, most of whom are orphans and the weak, who benefit from this support. Also, there are Islamic schools under this system that take part of the students whose education is sponsored by the foundation.

Today Marks world’s food day. A day specially mapped out to give out food to the less privileged ones all over the world. Above is a cross section of LBG Foundation’s Executive Members getting ready to distribute food items.

Muhammad Baba Gusau Donates Sewing Machine.
 
The Chief Executive Officer of LBG Foundation Dr. Lubna donated a brand new sewing machine to One Mal. Aisha, who is skilled with the art of fashion design but had no means of championing her desired goal.
 
It can be recalled that previous weeks, a committee was tasked to assess her situation immediately after she put to bed and was assisted with baby clothes, soaps, cream and a variety of food Items and a Cash Transfer of N20,000.00.
 
In a bid to empower and make her self reliant Dr. Procured the sewing machine for her so that she can leverage on and used her skills effectively and efficiently. This was done by the committee on behalf of the CEO and the entire foundation on the 28th of August 2022.
 
The Presentation took place at the residence of the beneficiary in Unguwar Mal. Ibrahim of Gusau Metro. Zamfara State.
The woman who happens to part of PWD expresses her happiness via sign language and had pray to Allah Almighty to continue to see Her Majesty in all her endeavors.
 
Dr. Lubna, putting into consideration of the situation of the family of the beneficiary, she had vow to assist/empower further the family as a whole on a headcount.

Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.
Ever Since our most recent Hospital Visitation Program that featured Cash Transfer and sponsorship of patients with financial Constraints, we received a boom of requests from numerous individuals from the general public.
In lieu of the above…, Mal. Asma’u is one of lucky patient selected out of the pool, we have visited the sick patient at Old FMC Gusau.
Statement of the problem/Findings.
The woman had a Fracture on one of her Hands and was wrongly and locally treated. This has caused more damage to the hand and her entire well being.
Action.
We were able to discuss with the sick patient, nurse and doctors on duty and made a donation of N100,000 which will cover for Theatre Fees, Admission, drugs, injections etc
We have registered our interest in helping her on behalf of her Majesty the Queen of Gusau who doubles as the CEO Haj. Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau and the foundation as a whole.
She has been admitted yesterday 09th August 2022 and underwent a successful ORIF surgery
We have assured them of our sincerest commitment and up-to-date monitoring during our visit early today in the morning.

Committee Report on Hospital Visitation Program.
Date: 20th to 21 July 2022
Location: Federal Medical Center Gusau and Yariman Bakura Specialist hospital
Objectives: To empathize with compassion and assess Patients’ Health Condition and financial capability to cope.
To Provide Support in Cash and kind to patients in a bid to ease the burden attached admission such as hospital bills, drugs, injections etc.
Assessment Report: On the 20th July 2022 the committee after a thorough fact finding through direct contact with patients, relatives and in consultation with nurses on duty found out that:
a. There are set of discharged but detained patients whom couldn’t settle their hospital bills.
b. Admitted Patients with prevailing sickness for the past 2 to 3 months.
c. Malnourished Children
d. Children attacked by Malaria
e. Theatre Patients’ on an emergency ground.
f. Cancerous Patients’
g. Ulcer and Patients’with psychological disorder such as depression among others admitted cut across;
i. Accident and Emergency
ii. Emergency Pediatric
iii. Female ward and female surgical ward
iv. Male Surgical to mention but few.

On the 21st of July 2022 at about 16PM to 18PM the assessed, identified and selected Patients’ were given Cash Transfer in the following order of health condition as well as financial constraints:

Earlier this Morning Today 09th July 2022 the CEO exercises another philanthropic gesture on the arafat day in a bid to support and celebrate Eidl Kabir festival 2022/1443.
Her Majesty wishes well and urge her members/staff and the muslim community to pray for unity and peace stability in the state and country at Large.
There were 50 neighbors who bagged N10,000, 25 Family and Friends N50,000.00, 12Members of Gusau emirate (5)50,000.00 and (7)10,000.00 respectively. Her supportive staff also bagged N50,000.00, N30,000.00 and N20,000.00 respectively in the order of commitment and punctuality.
LBG Members Graced Nigeria Girl Guide Association’s Occasion & donated 100,000.00 on Menstrual Hygiene/Washable Pads at School of Nursing and Midwifery Gusau, Zamfara State.
Yesterday 3rd July 2022 12 Members of the were in attendance in a bid to witness the planned activities of the association on educating secondary school girls on reusable pads.
Numerous Girls’ Secondary Schools were in attendance as well as Dignitaries cut across MDAs and other human endeavor.
There was as an activity demonstration on how to use the washable pads and thereafter lunching was flagged off. Ministry for women and children affairs donated the sum of 100,000.00 under the leadership of Dr. Barira Ibrahim.
Dr. Murtala Mainasara the Administrative Manager was the second to make donation on behalf of the CEO Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau and the entire foundation, the donation sum of 100,000.00 was made to compliment and support the sanitary pad Project. Dr. Murtala commended their efforts and encouraged them to step down a such in rural areas.

Globally today 8th of March marks the international women’s day celebration when women all over the world are been celebrated and also appreciated for all their efforts towards making the world a better place through 
INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS at areas of Sabon Gari and Matazu benefits from our Humanitarian intervention.
Dr. Murtala Mainasara led the team to deliver another set of relief materials to hundreds of IDPs residing at Sabon Gari and Matazu respectively.
Cooked Jollof Rice, Drugs, and Clothes among other needed items were presented.
Most of the beneficiaries are abandoned married women, widows and orphaned children. Our assessment reads that there is no shelter and medical attention to these IPDs as most of the children are cold and sick.
Under the auspicious leadership of Dr. Lubna MB. Gusau the CEO, the foundation has touched the lives of 3000 IDPs in Gusau alone and she had vow to do more.

The CEO Hajiya Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau (Sarauniyar Gusau) in her efforts to relieve pains and serve the common man in this holy month of Ramadan 1443Ah/2022 a sort of Charitable act. Thus, synergized with her Executives and approved the purchase and distribution of food items.
 
However, the food items Comprises of:
 
1. Bag of Rice 50kg, 25kg
2. Bag of Millet 50kg, 25kg
3. Bag of Sugar (Golden Penny)
4. Carton of Macaroni medium  size
5. Carton of Peak Milk (24 pieces)
 
The above items were categorized and  paired for distribution to a certain number of identified individuals mobilized from different areas of Gusau LGA.
 
There was another combo package comprising of 15kg fetched from each bag to form a take home package (Rice, Maize, millet, sugar and pieces of Macaroni)
 
LBG officials came on board as early as 7:00am in a bid to ensure a hitch free distribution exercise through a well planned system of action. Some worked on arrangement and sorting, fixing of the canopy, screening and validation of beneficiaries as well as assisting  of beneficiaries within the Distribution/Collection area. The exercise ended at about 2:00PM

On the 22nd of January, 2022 the CEO of LBG Foundation (Haj. Dr.Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau) was Conferred the SARAUNIYAR OF GUSAU by His Royal Highness the Reigning Emir of Gusau Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Bello.

On the 5th of January, 2022 some of the Executive members of the foundation received a directive from the CEO of the Foundation Dr. Lubna Muhammad Baba Gusau, to deliver Drugs to coalition of NGOs in Zamfara State. The said drugs will benefit internally displaced persons in the state.

STATEMENT: On the 28th of December 2021 BBC Hausa shared a heartbreaking news about the plight of internally displaced persons of SAMINAKA AREA of Gusau, Zamfara State. The news went viral and captured the attention of the CEO Dr. Lubna and had quickly directed QRT to make a FACT-FINDING REPORT of which they did and found out that those category of people exit and desperately in need of Humanitarian Support.
No Shelter, No Health Care No Food Provision.
Yesterday Members and Executives were on field to present and share the following relief materials to them;
1. Cooked Jollof Rice for 300 women and children.
2. Clothes for children.
3. Washing Soaps
4. Drugs for the sick; Children who were found sick and in need of first aid treatment were attended by professional Nurse.
They were very delighted ! May God Almighty Reward the gentle souls behind this philanthropic gesture.(January 2, 2022).
Quick Response Team’s assessment report reveals that most of the children internally displaced are in need of medical attention. A few are already malnourished while others battle with malaria/fever and minor stomachache.
Ayatollah, Dr, Haj. Lubna Muhammad BG the CEO procured related drugs in need and sought for the service of a professional nurse to diagnose and administer drugs. Other cases that are beyond attending to have been registered and referred to Hospital for further check up and medication.

A Communiqué issued during the commissioning of the project on the 29th June 2021 at girls focal primary school…

The foundation under the auspicious leadership of the chief executive officer, *Hajiya Lubna Muhammad baba Gusau* awarded the project on the 25th of April 2021 and completed on the 19th June 2021. The contract worth 235,000.00 was said to cover for the construction of concrete stage, provision of 2000 litres of water tank, procurement of a submersible machine, plumbing network and tap station for the students of the school in light of the *SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS* advocating *Goal 6* (Clean water and Sanitation) & *Goal 17* (Partnership for the Goals).

The commissioning took place at about 12:00PM attended by the chairman Saiff Charity Committee Alh. Shamsuddeen Sani Dahiru, staff of the foundation, a board member Hajiya Binta kiliya,the headmistress.
